- Returned from the PANTHER FIRE in Chico, CA a few days ago. I was on site for 6 days and our Com Team provided radio Communications, repair. programming, information and more for our fire fighters at base camp. Also setup NIFC repeater systems in remote locations near the fire to help fire fighters on the line to communicate back with base camp. Great experience for State Radio Technicians... Worked with many different agencies as far away as idaho...
- Incidentally, this is why I was not able to update the webpage regularly... However, I am back now and will continue to update as needed. Especially the AR News.

Breakfast anyone?
(Posted: April 27, 2013)
I know we haven't had many of these in a while, but if anyone is interested, let me know... Here's a good time for hams to "eyeball" talk story, share tech info, etc...
Normally we'll have these breakfasts on a Saturday and most of the time we've had them at the Buttercup Restaurant in Placerville, CA. Other times we've had the breakfast's in Folsom at the IHOP and in Sacramento at the PERKO's off of Bradshaw Rd on Micron Ave... So, we've got a few choices to choose from and I'll make it easy for you. Pick from the menu (no pun intended) and either use the website e-mail box (below) or e-mail me from your computer:
I'm thinking for now we should keep it on a Saturday.
(Pick one number below)
1. Buttercup - Placerville, CA
2. IHOP - Folsom, CA
3. PERKO's - Sacramento, CA
4. Other

Will announce the day if we get enough interested...
